The Art of Fermentation, from Pharmacy to Beer

What do pharmacies and craft beer have in common? Precision, balance and a touch of alchemy. It was this curiosity that, in 2014, led me to transform my home kitchen into a small fermentation laboratory. What started as an experiment quickly became a passion with no turning back.

Over time, this passion transformed into Netus ^® , a brand that values authenticity, tradition and artisanal spirit.

It all starts at the origins. I grew up surrounded by traditions, between the days spent in my grandfather's Mini-Store, next to Praça da Fruta, in Caldas da Rainha, where I learned the value of detail and care, and the moments with my father, discovering new flavors and unexpected combinations. That's when I realized that creating something unique requires dedication, knowledge and passion.

Each beer created at Rua de Camões 15, opposite Parque D. Carlos I in Caldas da Rainha, respects the principles of good fermentation: selected ingredients, careful methods and respect for the right time to achieve the perfect flavor. From the intense and aromatic West Coast IPA to our Ginja Beer, including a good Stout, each sip reflects the dedication and love for the craft.

From the boldness of our West Coast IPA to the Portuguese identity of our Cerveza de Ginja, each recipe reflects our dedication to quality and innovation. We often serve our drinks on tap, aboard a 1976 Citroën HY, just like the iconic Gulbenkian Traveling Libraries. Everything is designed to bring you the best, in the best possible way.
